The City of Boulder presents Arts in the Park, a program showcasing a vibrant blend of arts and cultural performances. Arts in the Park performances will take place at the Glen Huntington Band Shell in the city’s Civic Area. We'll showcase local talent as well as performances from the Boulder Ballet, Boulder Symphony, Boulder Opera and Boulder Philharmonic.

Arts in the Park 2024 will run from June 1 - Aug. 31 at and around the Glen Huntington Band Shell. These performances will be free or low cost to the community and provide assistance to local and independent performing artists.

We are adding more performances!

The Slide Rule trombone choir provides a unique performing and listening experience. Players are allowed to play in an ensemble featuring primarily trombones thus given the performer more opportunities to play than in an ordinary band or orchestra setting. The music also has an easily listenable sound for an audience. The trombone sound is one of the closest instrumental sounds to the human voice and therefore more easy to listen to in all cases.

  • Date: Saturday, June 8
  • Time: 4 p.m.
  • Location: Bandshell
